Terms of Service
IMPORTANT NOTICE: THESE TERMS CONTAIN AN ARBITRATION AGREEMENT AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER THAT AFFECT YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.
1) Who We Are
Zeona (the “Service”) is operated by Revelry Media Group, Inc. d/b/a Zeona (“Zeona,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Zeona may be referred to as “Revelry” in some materials or earlier drafts. These Terms govern the Service regardless of branding.
2) Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, or viewing any venue content, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You also agree to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you access the Service through Apple’s App Store or Google Play, you also agree to comply with the applicable platform terms.
3) Eligibility (18+)
The Service is intended only for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18.
We do not knowingly allow people under 18 to use the Service. If we learn that a person under 18 has used the Service, we may terminate the account and delete associated data as required or appropriate.
4) Your Account; Security; Verification
4.1 Account Required for Certain Features. An account is required for certain features of the Service, including live or snapshot viewing, favorites, support, and profile tools. Some discovery and static venue browsing are available without an account. You must provide accurate information and keep it updated.
4.2 Account Security. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access or security breach.
4.3 Verification. We may require email verification or other steps before allowing access to certain features.
4.4 No Account Sharing. You may not sell, rent, share, or transfer your account credentials, or allow others to use your account, except as expressly permitted by us in writing.
5) The Service and Venue Content
5.1 What Zeona Does. Zeona helps you preview participating social bar-like venues (including bars, lounges, breweries, rooftops, sports bars, patios, clubs, and similar venues) by providing time-sensitive venue content. In the current version this is time-sensitive images or snapshots (“Snapshots”), along with venue information and discovery features; live video streaming is deferred and is not part of the current Service. The Service is intended to be useful across day, evening, and night.
5.2 Ambient / Overhead Viewing. Participating venues are intended to provide wide-angle or overhead views designed to show general ambiance (e.g., crowd level, atmosphere), not close-ups of individuals. However, camera viewpoints and real-world venue conditions can vary.
5.3 Audio. The current version of Zeona shows still snapshots only and includes no audio. The app does not request microphone access, and Zeona does not collect or record audio from you through the Service.
5.4 No Guarantee of Accuracy or Availability. Venue content may be delayed, interrupted, offline, incomplete, or inaccurate. Zeona does not guarantee availability, quality, timeliness, or correctness of any venue content.
5.5 Not Safety or Security Advice. The Service is for entertainment and discovery. It is not a safety service, security system, emergency service, or a substitute for contacting a venue directly.
6) Venues Are Third Parties
Venues are independent third parties. We do not own, manage, operate, or control venues. We are not responsible for:
- venue operations, safety, capacity, pricing, entry policies, staff conduct, or compliance with laws;
- incidents or conditions at venues; or
- the actions of other patrons or third parties.
Any decisions you make based on the Service are made at your own risk.
7) Notice and Signage (Courtesy)
Zeona may provide signage, in-venue disclaimers, or other notices indicating that venue-controlled cameras may capture live snapshots of public, common areas. Such signage is provided as a courtesy when used. Zeona does not guarantee that signage will always be present, visible, or sufficient for every person in every venue.
If you are concerned about appearing in venue content, you should avoid participating venues and/or contact us as described in Section 18 (Contact).
8) Free Consumer Service at Launch
8.1 Launch Pricing. The consumer Service is free to use at launch. Zeona does not currently offer consumer paid subscriptions, paid tiers, or in-app purchases in the app.
8.2 No Consumer Ads. The consumer Service does not currently display third-party advertising.
8.3 Separate Business Arrangements. Any separate arrangement with venue owners or business partners does not change your rights under these Terms as a consumer user.
9) User Content (Limited)
The Service may allow limited user-submitted content such as profile photos and support requests (including attachments) (collectively, “User Content”).
9.1 Your Responsibility. You are responsible for your User Content. Do not submit content that:
- infringes third-party rights (copyright, trademarks, privacy, publicity);
- is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, threatening, obscene, or otherwise harmful; or
- includes sensitive personal information you do not want processed.
9.2 License to Zeona. You grant Zeona a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable (to our service providers), transferable license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for formatting), transmit, and display your User Content solely to operate, maintain, secure, and support the Service and to respond to support requests.
9.3 Removal. We may remove or restrict access to User Content at any time for any reason, including legal compliance or policy enforcement.
10) Acceptable Use; Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- record, capture, copy, download, restream, rebroadcast, publicly perform, distribute, sell, or otherwise exploit Snapshots or other venue content, except as explicitly permitted by Zeona in writing;
- use the Service to harass, stalk, threaten, dox, or harm any person;
- attempt to identify individuals shown in venue content or use facial recognition, biometric analysis, or similar techniques on venue content;
- scrape, crawl, harvest, or use automated means to access the Service or content (except with Zeona’s written permission);
- circumvent or bypass viewing limits, signed URL expirations, or other access controls;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code or underlying systems (except where prohibited by law);
- interfere with the Service, its security features, or its infrastructure; or
- use the Service for unlawful, discriminatory, or abusive purposes.
11) Intellectual Property
11.1 Our IP. The Service and its software, designs, text, graphics, and trademarks are owned by Zeona or our licensors and are protected by law.
11.2 Venue/Third-Party Content. Venue content and third-party materials may be owned by venues or third parties. Zeona does not grant you any ownership rights in venue content.
11.2.a Live venue media is intended to show venue atmosphere and operations, not to monitor, identify, or profile individual patrons.
11.3 Limited License to You. Subject to these Terms, Zeona grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial use.
12) Third-Party Services and Links
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (including streaming/CDN providers, backend and authentication services, map providers, and app platforms). Zeona is not responsible for third-party services. Your use of third-party services may be governed by their terms.
13) Copyright Policy (DMCA Notice-and-Takedown)
We respect intellectual property rights and will respond to valid copyright infringement notices consistent with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”).

13.2 Notice Requirements. To submit a DMCA notice, please include:
- (a) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
- (b) identification of the allegedly infringing material and where it appears (e.g., venue name, time, URL, screenshots);
- (c) your contact information (name, address, telephone, email);
- (d) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
- (e) a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner, plus your physical or electronic signature.
13.3 Counter-Notice. If content is removed due to a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was mistaken, you may submit a counter-notice. We may restore content as permitted by law unless the complainant initiates legal action.
13.4 Repeat Infringers. We may terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
14) Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, pose a risk to others, or for legal/security/operational reasons. You may stop using the Service at any time.
15) Disclaimers
THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ZEONA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE. ZEONA DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR THAT CONTENT WILL BE AVAILABLE OR ACCURATE.
16) Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- (a) ZEONA WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES; AND
- (b) ZEONA’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (I) $100 USD OR (II) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO ZEONA FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some limits may not apply to you.
17) Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Zeona and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your User Content; or (c) your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
18) Dispute Resolution; Arbitration; Class Action Waiver
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY — IT AFFECTS YOUR RIGHTS.
18.1 Informal Resolution First. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at support@zeona.io and describe the issue. We will try to resolve disputes informally within 30 days.
18.2 Arbitration Agreement. Except for the exceptions in 18.4, you and Zeona agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis, and not in court.
This arbitration agreement is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act (FAA).
18.3 Class Action Waiver. You and Zeona agree that claims may be brought only in your individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated, private attorney general, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate claims or award relief on a class-wide basis.
18.4 Exceptions. Either party may bring:
- (a) qualifying claims in small claims court; and/or
- (b) claims for injunctive or equitable relief related to unauthorized access, security, or intellectual property rights, in a court of competent jurisdiction.
18.5 Arbitration Administrator and Rules. The arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules (or another administrator if AAA is unavailable). The arbitration may be conducted by video, phone, or written submissions where appropriate.
18.6 Opt-Out. You may opt out of arbitration and the class action waiver by
sending written notice within 30 days of first accepting these Terms to:

Email notice to support@zeona.io is also acceptable if it includes your
full name, the email used for your account, and a clear statement that you
wish to opt out.
If you opt out, disputes will be resolved in court, consistent with Section 19.
19) Governing Law; Venue (If Not Arbitrated)
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except that the FAA governs the arbitration section above. If a dispute proceeds in court (for example, after an opt-out), you and Zeona agree to exclusive venue in the state or federal courts located in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
20) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Version / Last Updated” date at the top. We may also provide additional notice (e.g., in-app notice). Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
21) Apple/Google Platform Terms
If you downloaded the app from Apple’s App Store, you acknowledge that Apple is not responsible for the Service and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. Apple (and Apple’s subsidiaries) may be a third-party beneficiary of these Terms to the extent required by Apple’s policies and may enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
22) Miscellaneous
22.1 Severability. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
22.2 Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or by operation of law.
22.3 No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver.
22.4 Entire Agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Zeona regarding the Service.
