Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Revelry Media Group, Inc. d/b/a Zeona (“Zeona,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use Zeona (the “Service”).
Company Information:
Revelry Media Group, Inc. d/b/a Zeona

1) Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to:
- users who access or use the Service (including website visitors if applicable), and
- individuals who contact us (e.g., support requests).
The current version of Zeona shows still venue snapshots only and includes no audio; live video streaming is deferred and is not part of the current Service. The app does not request microphone access, and Zeona does not record or collect audio from your device. If you believe you appear in venue content and have concerns, contact us at support@zeona.io. Live venue media is intended to show venue atmosphere and operations (for example, general crowd level and ambiance), not to surveil, identify, or profile individual patrons.
2) Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
We may collect information you provide, such as:
- Account information (email address, name, password, and other profile fields);
- Age/eligibility information (for example, date of birth or confirmation you are 18+);
- Profile photo (if you upload one);
- Support communications (messages you send to us, plus any attachments you choose to provide);
- Business owner information, if you claim a venue, apply to add a venue, or request a camera install: your name, role at the venue, business email address, business phone number, the venue’s name and address, and any notes you choose to add;
- Any information you submit through forms, surveys, or feedback channels.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the Service, we may automatically collect:
- Device and app information (device model, OS version, app version/build, language settings, time zone);
- Log data (approximate location derived from IP address, timestamps, pages/screens viewed, error logs, performance data);
- Usage and interaction data (features used, viewing sessions, venue views, limits/entitlement status, clicks, and related analytics);
- Approximate and/or precise location data if you enable location permissions (used for showing nearby venues and maps);
- A push notification registration for your device, if you turn notifications on (used to deliver the alerts you asked for).
If you use Live Near You, we store a rounded location anchor for each area you choose to watch, so we can alert you when a venue near there goes live. You can watch up to three areas at a time. Your device rounds each location to about one kilometer, roughly which part of town you are in rather than an address, before anything is sent to us. When you stop watching an area, its rounded location is deleted from your account right away. The Live Near You record itself, which holds no locations once you have stopped watching every area, is automatically deleted approximately one year after you last changed it, or when your account deletion completes, whichever comes first.
2.3 Information From Third Parties
We may receive limited information from app platforms and service providers when needed to operate the Service, such as app distribution metadata, diagnostics, or related service-delivery information.
3) How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service;
- Authenticate users, enforce eligibility (18+), and prevent fraud or abuse;
- Provide customer support and respond to requests;
- Personalize content and recommendations (e.g., showing nearby venues or relevant venue categories);
- Measure performance and fix bugs (including crash and error monitoring);
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
4) How We Share Information
We may share information as follows:
4.1 Service Providers
We may share information with vendors that help us operate the Service, including:
- Cloud hosting, infrastructure, authentication, and database services (Google Firebase and Google Cloud Platform; Amazon Web Services);
- Transactional email delivery (Postmark, operated by AC PM LLC);
- Push notification delivery (Expo, Apple Push Notification service, Firebase Cloud Messaging);
- Crash and error monitoring (Sentry);
- Automated support triage, which sends the subject and text of a support ticket, and automated review of venue-page edits, which sends the text and any poster image a venue owner submits (Anthropic);
- Automated room-level crowd analysis of venue snapshot images, when that feature is turned on for a venue (OpenAI).
These providers are contractually required to protect this information and to use it only to provide services to us.
4.2 Legal, Safety, and Security
We may disclose information if we believe in good faith it is necessary to:
- comply with law, regulation, legal process, or governmental requests;
- enforce our Terms of Service or investigate potential violations;
- detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues; or
- protect the rights, property, or safety of Zeona, our users, venues, or the public.
4.3 Business Transfers
If Zeona is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
4.4 Share Links
If you create a share link, anyone who has that link can open the shared page without a Zeona account. The page may show the names and images of one or more venues, and it falls back to a general Zeona image when no venue image is available. The saved link holds venue references and no account identifier, so the shared page does not name you. Share links expire on their own, within about a day for a single venue and within a week at the longest.
5) Permissions and Your Choices
You can control optional app permissions, such as location, camera, photo library, and notifications, in your device settings. If you deny a permission, related features may be unavailable.
You can also choose not to provide optional profile photos or support attachments.
The current version of Zeona shows still snapshots only and includes no audio. The app does not request microphone access, and Zeona does not record or collect audio from your device.
6) Data Retention
Live venue media. For this version, Zeona shows still venue snapshots only; live video streaming is deferred and is not part of the current Service. Each new venue snapshot overwrites the most-recent image for that camera rather than adding to a stored history, so the app and backend do not build an archive of past snapshot frames. When automated crowd-level analysis is turned on for a venue, it reads the venue’s current snapshot when one is already being shown. At times when the venue is open but not showing one, it captures its own frame instead, and those frames are kept on a separate, non-public storage path and are automatically deleted from our storage within about a week. A snapshot is treated as current only for a short freshness window (on the order of a few minutes). Snapshots are delivered and stored through third-party cloud storage providers; Zeona does not represent that no copy can persist in those providers’ systems (for example, provider-side object versioning or backups). Apart from that automated-analysis case, Zeona does not intentionally retain an archive of past snapshot frames.
We retain information for as long as needed to:
- provide the Service,
- maintain records for security, fraud prevention, and compliance,
- resolve disputes, and
- enforce our agreements.
General guidance:
- Account information is retained while your account is active.
- Support tickets and attachments may be retained for a period after resolution for quality, security, and compliance purposes.
- Logs and analytics may be retained and/or aggregated or de-identified over time.
Business owner submissions. Venue claims, venue applications, and camera install requests are retained for approximately 180 days from submission, and these submission records are deleted sooner if you delete your account. Decision emails sent through our email provider are retained by that provider for up to 45 days.
Venue page edits. If you are a venue owner and submit an edit to your venue page, the submission expires approximately 30 days after you send it. If it is still present when your account deletion completes, it is deleted then. An image you submit that we approve becomes part of that venue’s public page and stays there until the page is changed or the venue is removed.
If you request account deletion, Zeona deactivates the account immediately, keeps the account in a recoverable soft-delete state for 30 days, and then permanently deletes or anonymizes remaining user-linked data unless we must retain some records for legal, security, or operational reasons.
Push-device registrations are removed when deletion starts. Firebase Auth credentials are deleted after the recovery window ends. Support tickets may be kept with their identifying fields removed: the account identifier is replaced with a coded value, the email address and name are cleared, and any attachments are deleted. Product analytics records may be kept the same way, with the account identifier replaced by a coded value so historical totals stay correct without naming you. Audit and security logs may be retained when required for fraud prevention, abuse investigations, or legal compliance.
7) Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. However, no system is completely secure. You use the Service at your own risk.
8) International Users and Data Transfers
If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. We take steps designed to protect information consistent with this Privacy Policy.
9) Your Rights and Requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- access, correct, or delete certain personal information;
- receive information about our data practices; or
- opt out of certain processing where required by law.
To make a request, contact support@zeona.io. We may require verification of your identity before completing certain requests.
Account deletion instructions are also available at /legal/account-deletion.
10) Children’s Privacy (18+ Only)
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, contact us at support@zeona.io.
11) Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Version / Last Updated” date at the top and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
