Account Deletion
Zeona users can request account deletion from inside the app. This page explains the deletion flow, the 30-day recovery window, and the support path if you cannot access the app.
1) In-App Deletion
In the app, go to Profile → Your information & permissions → Delete account.
- Standard user accounts are deactivated immediately after deletion is confirmed.
- The account then enters a 30-day recovery window.
- After the recovery window ends, Zeona permanently deletes or anonymizes the remaining user-linked data.
2) Privileged Accounts
If the account still has venue ownership or Zeona admin responsibilities, the request is recorded in-app but deletion pauses until those responsibilities are transferred safely.
3) If You Cannot Access the App
Email support@zeona.io with the subject “Account deletion request” from your account email address, or include enough information for us to verify the request safely.
4) What Is Deleted vs Retained
- Firebase Auth credentials are deleted after the recovery window ends.
- Push-device registrations are removed when deletion starts.
- Favorites, profile data, avatars, and viewing/quota records are removed during final purge.
- Support tickets are retained only in an anonymized form when needed for operational or security records.
- Security and admin audit logs may be retained when required for legal, fraud, or abuse-prevention purposes.
5) Recovery During the 30-Day Window
Recovery during the 30-day window is support-assisted. Contact support@zeona.io before the recovery window expires.
